I posted about SheIn in this post, but if you guys haven’t checked them out, you really need to! I was delighted to work with them again because, well, I literally can’t get enough, haha! I wore this dress last month when I was invited to attend a local concert, and it was the perfect look for the event: Casual, transitional, comfortable, and flattering!
Happy hump day, guys! So we’re back from our Orlando / Disney trip, and I always feel like I need to hit the ground running once I return from a vacay (and time away from the blog), and it’s a bit overwhelming when the to-do list is larger than it has been in 3 weeks! With so much to do, it’s nice to have outfits I can grab without taking the time to think about how I’m going to style them. Enter: this two-piece set. Yes, that’s right! This dress is actually a set, and this skirt is actually a skort – with a fun slit!
Finally! A trend that combines sexy with comfort! Full coverage with a flirty, feminine vibe. One of my good friends and I were talking about how difficult it is to find suits that you can actually feel comfortable in, anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for flaunting what you’ve got, but sometimes (especially nowadays, being a mom) I just kind of want to be able to move around, chase after my baby, swim, and sprawl out without having to worry about nip slips or fallouts.
If summer were a romper, it would be THIS ONE! It’s color palette is so much fun and what is more summery than pineapples? I thought it would be appropriate to do a post about a romper since I’ve been wearing them a lot lately. I have to say though, this Lilly one definitely pushed me to step out of my comfort zone. Rarely do I wear something so colorful, but this season, more is more (hence my decision to pair it with cobalt blue circle drop earrings!), and I am so on board!
This dress just makes you feel pretty when you have it on, and I literally didn’t want to take it off! With an elegant and flattering silhouette and weight (it is super heavy and great quality), its ruffles and patterns add a fun, flirty, feminine element, making it perfect for our recent cruise on the Baltic Sea! I am so into ruffles and flowy pieces at the moment. There is literally nothing more feminine!
Unlike its sister trend the off-the-shoulder, the one-shoulder style has been making appearances all over the runways, and, according to Elle, it is “the top every it-girl will be wearing this summer.”
Hi guys! As you may have seen, Logan recently turned one and was baptized, so we had a lot of events to celebrate the occasions, and when I was deciding what to wear to each of them, I thought it would make for a great post! Especially with wedding season under way and so many proposals happening right now (I seriously feel like I have a friend or hear of an acquaintance getting engaged every other day!), plus students getting ready to graduate, I thought a “White dress edit” was definitely in order! All white, these dresses are each super different and great for varying occasions!
Hi guys! I have some exiting news! I have partnered with JORD Wood Watches to give one of my readers a $100 gift code to use toward the watch of his or her choice! Plus everyone who enters will automatically receive $25 in credit as a consolation prize once the contest is over. Scroll down for all contest details :).
I was super excited when they reached out to me because you literally can’t have enough watches and I’ve never owned a wooden one!
Hi guys! To make up for my lack in blog posts recently, I’m doing one with a BUNCH of different looks! 😀 Actually, the MIA-ness is due to prepping for posts I have coming up, a few of which highlight multiple looks in one, so that has called for extra shoots and edits!
Anyway, I’ve been meaning to do a “Fitting Room Diaries” post for awhile now. It’s become less common for people to shop in stores, versus online, so the aspect of trying clothing on…
Happy Thursday, guys! This week has been so hectic!! Little Logan Penelope is turning one year old on Saturday (I can’t believe it), and we are having her baptized on Sunday! We decided to do one big celebration, for both the birthday and the christening, so we’re throwing her two big parties, one for just family and one with both family and friends (honestly, it’s all gotten a little out of hand and has become a much bigger event, overall, than we had originally intended, but hey! Who doesn’t love a party!? Haha). Anyway, it’s been the best year of my life, having her, so I’m beyond excited to celebrate!!
