Hi guys! Logan, my mom, and I came to Chicago for half of this week to visit my siblings and niece, and it’s been such a wonderful mini getaway. Who doesn’t need one once in awhile ??? I’m so excited to share pics from a couple outfit shoots we did here. Both my sister and my youngest brother are big into film and photography so it’s always so much fun getting to work with them.

Anyway, this outfit is one I shot back at home, in Cincy. Who isn’t loving faux leather jackets for fall? Pairing them with distressed denim is a no brainer, but to balance out the ruggedness of the look, I opted for a more feminine top (similar to what I didn when I styled the same combo {here}). Of course, you don’t always need so much balance. Yesterday, walking around Chicago, I wore the jacket-and-denim duo with a v-neck tee and canvas sneakers and, although not the most feminine look, it had an effortless vibe to it for sure.
