Happy Thursday, guys! This week has been so hectic!! Little Logan Penelope is turning one year old on Saturday (I can’t believe it), and we are having her baptized on Sunday! We decided to do one big celebration, for both the birthday and the christening, so we’re throwing her two big parties, one for just family and one with both family and friends (honestly, it’s all gotten a little out of hand and has become a much bigger event, overall, than we had originally intended, but hey! Who doesn’t love a party!? Haha). Anyway, it’s been the best year of my life, having her, so I’m beyond excited to celebrate!!

In other news, I was a little slow to jump on board with the cold-shoulder trend; off-the-shoulder: 100%, but two little slits in the shoulders just didn’t make sense to me. Or perhaps it’s the name and the negative connotation that comes with it? Either way, I had never owned one… until this shirt! When I saw it, I knew I had to have it. The cut of the v, combined with the mocha color and thumb holes were reason enough, but when felt how soft it was, it was game over!

I’ve literally worn it so many times since I got it and tried not to showcase it on Insta because I wanted it to appear on the blog first, but I failed once or twice. One time I wore it to the mall and, in her efforts to steer me toward a certain pair of sunglasses, the saleswoman at Sunglass Hut backed her suggestion with the fact that I “seem to have a dressy style”… So even more props to this shirt! It’s made from rayon and spandex, and it looks DRESSY! 😉 Seriously, I am not exaggerating when I say it’s probably one of the comfiest shirts I own. And it does have somewhat of a refined feel to it, despite being trendy, doesn’t it?

These stacking rings are so delicately thin, and I’ve yet to see them this thin anywhere else – the designer makes them by hand, to order, and does an amazing job!brunette wearing cold Shoulder Hazelnut Oatmeal Camel Khaki black distressed ankle jeansbrunette wearing cold Shoulder Hazelnut Oatmeal Camel Khaki black distressed ankle jeansI love the detail on the hem of these jeans! You’re definitely going to want to size down on them. If you look closely, you’ll see they fit a bit loosely around my upper thighs (it’s hard to tell since I’m sitting), which I don’t really like, so I’m going to be exchanging them for a size smaller. The top is from REVOLVE, so you know you’re in good hands when it comes to shipping and returns, but it does run TTS (true to size)!brunette wearing cold Shoulder Hazelnut Oatmeal Camel Khaki black distressed ankle jeans
