In high school I remember stealing my mom’s bodysuits, and my friends made fun of me when I would wear them. They were considered something of the 80’s, and yet, here they are today, back in all their glory :). Really, I like to think of them as a convenience thing—like my 9-month-old’s onesies, they stay in place, and they don’t ride up! They’re brilliant. And for us adults, they can even be sexy.

This one in particular, with its fun pattern, leans more on the retro, sultry side, so to balance it out, I paired it with my favorite boyfriend jeans.

For shoes, I would do an ankle boot in black or neutral sneakers.
