Looking over these photos, I couldn’t believe how big Lo looked! Wah!I started doing a post on how I DIY-flocked my tree, but figured I wouldn’t have had it up early enough to give people time to do their own if they wanted, so I’m going to save it for next year! Hi guys! I hope everyone had the best holiday season!! Nothing makes me happier than having all of my family under one roof, so I was happy as a clam this entire break. I do feel like I need a vacation from this vacation though, haha, likely because of all of the activities and parties and gatherings we attended, the sweets I’ve been consuming, the lack of sleep, and the head cold I got from my brother. My body is ready to go back to real life.

My skin is ready for real life again, too! For the new year, I am making a point to be even better about my skincare routine (I say “even” better because I feel like I’m pretty OCD about it? But there are nights where I slip and fall asleep before going through everything – the worst)! Newest members to my team are the  Rejuvenating Eye Gel and Face Rejuvenation Serum from Circ Cell. Circ Cell is a skincare company founded by a former engineer that wanted a skincare line that worked well in every type of environment and seasonal change! Both of the products I have been using are a part of their Anti-Aging Skincare Treatment line (yes, please!). I was really excited to partner with this company because, for one, I’m big into packaging and couldn’t help but fall in love with this sleek, chic look. And two, I love what they promise! I will have to update you guys after I use them for a bit longer, but so far, my skin looks more rejuvenated when I wake up in the morning. I rarely wear a full face of makeup to nanny or work at the school, so I actually wore more makeup over the holidays than I do in my everyday life and I am excited to get back to a simpler, refreshed state when it comes to my skin.

Before I wrap this up, I also wanted to touch on these pajamas, because they. are. amazing!! They were actually a birthday gift from a couple of my sweet friends and I am in love! I am pretty positive they are the softest pieces of clothing in my closet, making them easily the most comfortable ensemble I’ve worn to sleep. I think it might actually make a difference in sleep quality when you feel luxuriously cozy as you slip into bed at night :). They are hand-wash only, which would be annoying, but I don’t ever hand wash my “hand-washables” anymore; instead, I simply throw them into a mesh laundry bag wash them in a delicate cycle!

Okay, I hope everyone has the best hump day – and hopefully short week!? My official work week is just starting, hehe 🙂
