Gauze wrap dress in sand, cloud-print multi-colored cashmere and silk shawl
Gold has been having a moment this season and it doesn’t seem like it will be going anywhere, which makes me really happy because it’s probably my favorite color! {Polo Ralph Lauren Wrap Dress (on sale), Bindya Cashmere & Silk Scarf}
I thought I’d kick off the end of the official fall season with a shoot I did back in September with Venue Lifestyle & Event Guide, a magazine local to Cincinnati. Having worked with Venue in the past, it was an honor to reconnect with old and new friends, and I am grateful for the experience! Even though the styling of each outfit doesn’t speak directly to my personal style, I still love the individual pieces that were used and thought it would be worthwhile to share a few of them here, especially since we showcased staples of the season that will be sticking around for those to come.

Weekend Max Mara: Lente Sleeveless Suede Dress in Tobacco, ETRO: Fringed Wool Cape Poncho, Tom Ford Round Brushed Metal Sunglasses
This amazingly comfortable dress can be worn through the winter season with the right layers (ponchos, cardigans, coatigans) and boots or tights. And if you take a look at some of my recent posts, it’s pretty apparent that I am a fan of ponchos. What is warm, cozy, and chic all over…? πŸ™‚ {Weekend Max Mara Suede Dress (on sale), Etro Cape Poncho (on sale) (more affordable options were posted about here), Tom Ford Sunglasses (similar here and here)}
soft chambray shirt, yellow pleated midi lolly skirt
Pleated midi skirts are everything right now. I need to get hands on one. I am really into the metallics that have been everywhere lately. Paired with warm, over-sized sweaters or even sweatshirts, they are going to be fun to wear all winter long. {Joie Chambray Top, Weekend Max Mara Pleated Skirt (on sale)}
horse in background, pleated blouse, aztec poncho cardigan, ankle boots
This was actually the cover of issue πŸ™‚ and one of my favorite outfits. I really channeled my inner Pocahontus for this one, with the fishtail braid and the aztec print on the poncho cardi ;). And my very own western booties made this cut! {Theory Blouse, Paige Jeans, Polo Ralph Lauren Cardigan}
floral billowy off the shoulder top, white skinny jeans, ray-ban 51mm club round mirrored sunglasses
Off-the-shoulder tops have been dominating the fashion world for months now and they are definitely here to stay for the upcoming seasons! Wear this one through the winter under a coat or motto jacket for a textured layered look. Also, I love that they styled this with white denim since I am definitely into fall and winter white. {Rebecca Minkoff OTS Top (on sale), Escada Skinny Jeans, Ray-Ban Club Round Mirrored Sunglasses}
Cashmere Cable-kint sweater, boots, Western tassel crossbody bag
Love the coziness of this sweater and the tassels on the purse! You can’t really see the ankle pants in this picture, but they are absolutely amazing. The faux leather provides just enough edge and the fit is snug in all the right places, making them very flattering. {Peserico Cable-Knit Sweater (absolutely love how Saks styled it with plaid ankle pants!) , AG Ankle Leatherettes, Bindya Scarf, Rebecca Minkoff Western Crossbody (similar here)}
Ralph Lauren Suede Moto Jacket in Tan, Paisley Printed Silk dress
Crushing on this motto jacket. Motos have been so big this fall and will continue to make their mark through spring! {Joie Dress (on sale), Polo Ralph Lauren Moto Jacket (on sale)}
A-line dress in black
This LBD can be dressed up or down, taken from desk to dinner, with a change of a blazer, moto jacket, or, as pictured, a shawl! {Rebecca Taylor A-Line Dress}
