Happy Thursday, guys! This week has been so hectic!! Little Logan Penelope is turning one year old on Saturday (I can’t believe it), and we are having her baptized on Sunday! We decided to do one big celebration, for both the birthday and the christening, so we’re throwing her two big parties, one for just family and one with both family and friends (honestly, it’s all gotten a little out of hand and has become a much bigger event, overall, than we had originally intended, but hey! Who doesn’t love a party!? Haha). Anyway, it’s been the best year of my life, having her, so I’m beyond excited to celebrate!!
Happy Hump Day! In a way Wednesdays are like Friday’s for Logan and me because we’re done nannying for the week. We adore the kids we nanny, but Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends are our days to sleep in an hour later and devote more time to the blog, which I love to do so it hardly feels like work.
So if you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this top once or twice already, with good reason! It’s a great top! It’s chic and on trend, but, because it’s a tee, it’s so comfortable that it’s easy to forget your look is pretty chic while you’re wearing it! 😉
Is it just me or does this pinstripe top speak for itself? ???? The puff sleeves take it from favorable to fabulous and elevate what would be a fairly typical frock to be so much more fun, extravagant, and, for me, deliciously luxurious, making the fact that it is from Forever 21 that much more wonderful.
I have to say that before I got pregnant, I had the cutest workout gear and so many outfits that I loved exercising in, but once my baby (and boobs) got to a certain size, it felt like nothing I found really gave my belly (or boobs) enough coverage and support to make me feel comfortable while venturing to the gym.
