Hi guys! To make up for my lack in blog posts recently, I’m doing one with a BUNCH of different looks! 😀 Actually, the MIA-ness is due to prepping for posts I have coming up, a few of which highlight multiple looks in one, so that has called for extra shoots and edits!
Anyway, I’ve been meaning to do a “Fitting Room Diaries” post for awhile now. It’s become less common for people to shop in stores, versus online, so the aspect of trying clothing on and getting a feel for how it fits and feels prior to making purchases is a bit lost on us (not that I’m complaining because online shopping is quite possibly the best invention ever created). That being said, I went ahead and tried on a bunch of great staple pieces for spring so that you don’t have to – and pretty much EVERYTHING is under $100! Of course our sizing and builds may differ, but I’ll be sharing insight into the fabric, feel, and quality up close—basically the things that usually get lost in translation when you’re shopping on a screen. Plus I think it’s helpful to see an item on someone other than the model on a retailer’s website. I hope to continue doing these, so feedback on whether or not they are helpful would be so appreciated!!
DETAILS: So, after purchasing it here, I’ve been wearing this tee almost on a weekly basis (no shame). It’s so comfy and the length and cut make it super versatile (and knot-table) and a wardrobe staple! I’m also loving the detail on this bomber. Embroidery is everything right now!
DETAILS: DENIM JACKET
Everyone needs a denim jacket, and I was needing a more current one. I posted this picture on my Insta (hence the LiketoKNOW.it symbol), but to reiterate, it is denim perfection. I love the fit and its perfect amount of distressed-ness (word?). The wash color is also great. Not too light and not dark, very much making it an “it” jacket for spring and even summer nights.

DETAILS: PATCH SWEATSHIRT
Okay, this sweatshirt isn’t under $100, but I couldn’t resist sharing. Similar to embroidery, patchwork has been big at the moment, and you can’t go wrong with a gray sweatshirt. I love this one for a comfy yet stylish travel look.
DETAILS: RUFFLE LONG SLEEVE
Wanted to show you guys a back shot of these jeans ?! I can’t believe they’re under $80! They are literally my new favorite pair, fitting like a glove without being that stretchy, thin material you tend to find in less expensive jeans. They’re super sturdy and soft at the same time, making them SO comfortable! I’m in love.

Another easy v tee, which you cannot have enough of, plus I wanted to show you guys this hat and these sneaks. I own the ball cap in grey (sold out but similar here in pale blue or blush), which you can find me in whenever I’m having a dirty-hair/no-makeup day, you feel me? With its soft cotton twill and color options, it’s perfect for keeping an outfit chic and pulled together and adding a sporty touch.
DETAILS: OPEN BACK TIE BODYSUIT | DISTRESSED DENIM
Ugh I’m so obsessed with this bodysuit. The reason I “ugh” is because it doesn’t quite make sense for me at the moment since I’m still nursing Logan and have to have easy access on the go. It has a romantic, Parisian flare while being super sweet and femme.
DETAILS: WHITE BELL SLEEVE TOP
Bell sleeves are everywhere, as we all know, but this one’s crisp cotton material makes it super structured for a very dressed-up or fancy feel. 
DETAILS: BLACK COLD SHOULDER TOP
Clearly wasn’t prepared bra-wise for this one, but I love the simplicity of this cold shoulder top. Dress it up for dinner out or pair it with cut offs and a ball cap for day drinks and picnics in the park (people do that, right?)!

I’m clearly not as keen as I should be on the cold shoulder trend because I forgot to slip my arms through the second sleeve holes ?. In my defense, I was really rushed at this point because my mom had called saying Logan wanted to nurse. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with a sleeveless white ruffle top! Good for dinners out or just to run errands on a Saturday! Easy peasy, feeling breezy.

I wasn’t sure about this one at first, but it absolutely grew on me! I didn’t have the right shirt on underneath it, but a fitted tank in black or white would give all the attention to this beautiful mesh top, with its polka dots and ruffle details! I LOVE it for spring!
DETAILS: INCREDIBLE TEE | FRAYED DENIM SHORTS | ESPADRILLE PLATFORM WEDGES
You may have seen me in the “Chocolate” version of this “Incredible Tee,” and I have mentioned that it really is incredible because it’s so versatile! You can knot it, tuck it, or keep it long and flowy. It is nice and lightweight, making it a staple for all seasons, and the open back allows you to wear it off one shoulder if you wish, adding yet another option! These wedges aren’t under $100, but they’re this season’s must-have item. I own similar ones that are under $60, available here though!
