I was super excited when they reached out to me because 1 – you can’t have enough watches, and 2 – I’ve never owned a wooden one! They have so many different options to choose from, but I finally settled on this navy and zebra wood combination. I love how the navy gives your outfit a pop of color while still being completely versatile, and I knew I wanted a larger face for the “boyfriend watch” look. I’m all for masculinity to contrast femme vibes in my outfits for an allover edgier style :). Anyway, the lightweight wood and carefully crafted design gives it a classic and, need I say, timeless feel (pun v. much intended).
Because I chose to style my JORD watch with a simpler outfit, I balanced things out by adding more accessories alongside the watch, like rings and bracelets. I also wanted to show that its wooden makeup lends itself nicely to accessorizing with different types of metals and materials, but want to add that I think it looks great on its own, too!

One thing I will say about working with companies is – I’m very excited to continue doing so! Initially, I was a little worried that you guys would judge me if I started to publish “sponsored” content, by not taking me or my writing as seriously, or thinking there were reasons other than my love of the product driving the post, which of course is a risk that any blogger wanting to work with brands faces and something I have come to expect. What I hadn’t expected though, was how much the partnership drove my creativity in styling the post. I wanted my campaign to be as different as possible from all the other bloggers working with the company, which gave me a challenge I don’t normally have when coming up with content.
Anyway, definitely be sure to check out their options – they have so many different kinds of woods that they use, combined with lots of different face colors and models.
