These were taken back in October, pre-Nikon aka with the iPhone, so apologies for the less than ideal quality.
Hi guys! So I really want to start posting more regularly! It’s harder than I thought it would be to find time to get photo shoots scheduled, pictures edited, and posts written while nannying and raising my babe. I started nannying actually the same week my blog went live (October 18, 2016), and whoever said that being a stay-at-home mom or caretaker isn’t “work” couldn’t have had it more wrong! I was less drained coming home from the corporate job I worked before I had Logan; this could be because I currently spend my “work” days with a three-year-old, one-year old, nine-month-old (Lo), and a puppy.

At any rate, I don’t want to bore anyone, but I think this is an important talking point because I know other stay-at-home moms who have had to deal with the guilt and/or shame brought on by our society, when it is the last thing they should feel. I am immensely proud of my decision to raise my baby myself on a daily basis, and, while I know not everyone has that luxury, it is a sacrifice in itself and one that should be considered as dignified as it is rewarding.

I also just wanted to say that since I have a fairly good number of readers, according to my WordPress stats (yay – thank you, thank you!!), I want you guys to know that I am working on putting together a schedule to make my posts more consistent! 🙂 Again, I can’t thank you enough for following along! <3 <3

Back to clothing: It’s needless to say that how I look in posts is not typical to how I look on a week-day basis lol. I wore semi-cute clothes in the beginning and would come home from nannying with stains all over me, and one time the puppy chewed up a pair of my sneakers; another needless-to-say: I keep it very casual and comfy when I head to my nanny job (sweats, leggings, Uggs, etc.).
