A Casual Take on the Over-The-Knee Boot

Faux Leather Jacket (old—similar here, plus love this one and this suede motto option!), Abercrombie & Fitch Easy V-Neck Tee (on sale), Joe’s White Denim, Unisa Saranaa Over-the-Knee Boot

With the craziness of this crazy election and the even crazier results, I’ve been feeling a bit disheartened and so haven’t made the time to post. Plus this weekend I had food poisoning after attending the party I went to here (thinking artichoke dip, was the delicious yet responsible culprit) so this weekend was out of the question too. Anyway! We Americans have an opportunity to stay positive in the face of the unknown, and I’d like to do just that.

So, when I first considered getting over-the-knee boots, I thought, “How often would I really wear these bad boys?” and I have been pleasantly surprised with just how often I have. This is probably aided by the fact that I went with taupe over the navy option I really wanted since taupe is a bit more versatile. I’ve always been a sucker for neutrals :). I thought I’d start out with a casual OTK look because I wanted to show that, even with the heel, over-the-knees don’t need to feel over-the-top.

Hope you have a great rest of your week and that, whatever news you were hoping for, we can go forth a little less divided in the weeks to come.
